This small inexpensive paperback is intended to be a convenient and informative, white coat pocket guide. It fulfils this aim admirably and I much enjoyed reading it. The book derives from the radiology “Red Dot” teaching course. I am certainly going to recommend this book for personal purchase by those of our trainee radiologists who are unable to attend the course, and I will frequently refer to my own review copy when teaching plain film chest radiographic interpretation. Superb

Written by the same authors of the prize-winning 'Accident and Emergency Radiology: A Survival Guide', this has to be a compulsory purchase for newly trained (and even not-so-newly trained) doctors, including radiology and ED residents. Anyone who has to interpret chest radiographs should have it on their shelf - the same easy to read style has been used and it is just as clear, with excellent diagrams, and a huge number of high quality films to illustrate each point. An indispensable book.

Excellent book for physicians.

I am an ER physician who interprets x-rays at an urgent care. I purchased 3 books on interpretation of chest x-rays, and this book was the best. It was detailed and easy to understand. It provided a good review of pulmonary disease images from pneumonia to solitary pulmonary nodules.

Great Cest Xray interpretation Resource for a PA/NP/MD

This book is a very helpful CXR guide with many high-resolution radiographs. It includes a great introduction to CXR interpretation, and covers intermediate skills of CXR interpretation, such as histoplasmisis nodules/calcifications. I would recommend this product to any student or clinician looking for a quick, but comprehensive guide to CXR interpretation. This book explains all concepts, interpretation skills, and common radiologic signs thoroughly without over-simplifying the information.
